Source: I was sent the box for review purposes by My Chronicle Books and I’ve chosen to review it here.

Christmas definitely came early today for me. Absolutely delighted with my ChronicleBookBox which is ‘a unique reading subscription box curated for you every three months including 2 (I was sent 3) of the latest literary releases and a selection of beautiful items’ ‘

‘How It Works (from their website: see below)

Step 1 Choose your favourite genre
Choose the genre of your two books from crime and mystery or science fiction and fantasy.
Step 2 Your box is curated
We review and hand pick the books and bring together a beautiful selection of other goodies – build the anticipation by keeping up to date with the latest news on social media.
My Chronicle Book Box Step 3

Step 3 Read and enjoy

Your box is sent out 4 times a year, delivered to your door step – wait patiently or impatiently for your reading box to arrive. Enjoy the products and let us know what you thought’

The books in my box:

Did you see Melody? by Sophie Hannah

Strange Sight by Syd Moore

Death in The Stars by Frances Brody

A beautiful scented hand poured soy candle  made by Northumbrian Candleworks Honeysuckle Jasmin (I’m allergic to a lot of manufactured scented products but was fine with this)

A magnifying bookmark from That Company called IF based in Pickering North Yorkshire who manufacture a range of book related products. Apparently. Must check them out. I’m going to start using this immediately. I annoy people by turning down corners of books, plus it’s a very handy little thing to have around.

Under Milkwood Dark Woods coffee, which is an award winning coffee (Great Taste Awards 2016 & 2017) and promises to ‘melts to rich caramel in milk’. Woohoo will be trying that later. ☕️

A tea and books print from the new autumnal range from Bohemia. A bit of a contradiction to the above but I love it!

A bookish pocket mirror by JenThePieceMaker
