‘Ever since I read Louise Jensen’s debut The Sister I’ve been a huge fan of her writing, but OMG The Surrogate her latest and most adventurous book yet plants her firmly on my list of “must-read” authors… I really think this is the author’s best book yet and it is definitely one of the best psychological thrillers I’ve read this year.’ The Book Review Cafe

My Thoughts & Review

Gosh what a belter of a book.
Louise Jensen certainly knows how to crank up the tension and keep it there throughout an entire book. It was impossible to predict which way this book was going and I was wrong footed every time. I stopped trying to second guess the outcome and was glued to every page, turning the pages frantically to find out what happened next.

A family member went through the nightmare of infertility and repeated IVF failures and I remember the terrible anguish and desperation so vividly described here.
Most of the characters in this chilling tale are hiding something. There are long held secrets and apparently hidden motives for their actions.

Who is telling the truth? The ending when it came was totally unexpected and had a real twist. Cleverly and devilishly plotted

As a psychological thriller, it does what it’s supposed to do. Totally suspenseful and chilling. Outstanding
