Think I’m reading far too much Crime Fiction. We were out for a lovely drive on the Denbigh Moors this evening hoping to photograph some wildlife. Instead I was thinking what great book covers and settings the spooky old deserted cottages up there would make for Crime Fiction novels (as you do 😱)

I bet they all have an interesting history and plenty of stories. In the winter snows the roads up there are impassable, so living conditions would have been harsh, but it’s a shame they’re uninhabited and have been left to rot. The road is the A5, the old postal road London-Holyhead-Ireland.

Interesting article about the history of the moor
